Al-Zaman uses location data, when you permit it, to calculate prayer times, solar and lunar information, Qibla direction, and the relevant time zone. Location access is not activated without your permission.

Preferences such as theme, clock format, selected place, and Adhan settings are stored in your browser local storage. No account is required for those preferences.

The site may request motion, device-orientation, or notification permission for features that need them. Granting these permissions is optional and they can be revoked in browser or device settings.

Many values are calculated locally on the device. To refine prayer times when the network is available, Al-Zaman may send the place coordinates, date, and calculation method to an external prayer-time service. If that service fails, the local calculation remains the fallback.

Al-Zaman does not sell your personal data and does not require a user account to use the clock. If analytics or user accounts are added later, this policy must be updated before those features are enabled.
